Graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in December of 1999. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education. I majored in Special Education and minored in General Education. I completed my degree with a GPA of 3.5.
Experience
I am currently teaching in a Special Education setting. I am a certified teacher in the state of Texas. I am certified to teach SPED EC-12, GenEd EC-6 and ELAR 4-8. My areas of strength included Math, ELAR and Writing. As a certified teacher, I am constantly learning new and fun strategies to help students meet mastery level of state standards. Also, as a SPED teacher, I have the knowledge needed to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of individual students.
