I am currently teaching in a Special Education setting. I am a certified teacher in the state of Texas. I am certified to teach SPED EC-12, GenEd EC-6 and ELAR 4-8. My areas of strength included Math, ELAR and Writing. As a certified teacher, I am constantly learning new and fun strategies to help students meet mastery level of state standards. Also, as a SPED teacher, I have the knowledge needed to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of individual students.

My hobbies and interests include horseback riding, swimming, reading, watching TV, and spending quality time with my friends and family. My family includes my husband and many furry, four-legged creatures. I love animals and have many residing in my home. I have two horses, three dogs, and three cats. I think we have a neon sign above our home that says, vacancy. My animals are a wonderful part of my family.
